WHY: To celebrate the public launch of Vista OS and Microsoft’s association with T-Mobile
FROM MISSION CONTROL
The poster, (full page) ad & free t-shirt artwork, stage schematics and press release of our landmark Microsoft/T-Mobile association. In a nutshell, we are the 'poster children' for their much bally-hood Vista OS public release, next Wed., Jan. 30. On that day, we shall play our first in a series of four free concerts sponsored by Microsoft & T-Mobile. They are providing a revolutionary, dynamic portable stage that opens like a lotus from a flatbed. The truck itself is decorated with our name and the dates and can be seen cruising around the streets of the cities we are to perform, several days in advance of the concerts. They have built a website for the campaign ... and it has just gone live! Logon : www.skysurprise.com

and check it out! It is pretty funny!

The stage is transported from city to city on a flatbed that opens like a Lotus. It will cruise around each city days in advance as a(n old fashioned?) form of snipe advertising.

Back in THE DAY, JEFFERSON STARSHIP & HOT TUNA had beautifully (Kelly-Mouse I think) rendered artwork on their gear trucks - this is reminiscent of that & the fans ought to see it on our website ... don'tcha think?
