A most interesting article.  So now we know that Paul is a prophet, a la Jules Verne.  I urge all you readers to look up the article Dave mentioned.  One thing about it troubles me, and maybe one of you reading this is enough of a genius to figure it out.  The article says that the scientists envision a ship with laser sails (much like the JS3C logo - you guys are ahead of your time!), and this ship would travel 10% the speed of light.  At that rate, a trip to Alpha Centauri, the nearest star system outside ours, about 4.3 light years away, would take about 43 years.  The problem is that the ship would take about 100 years to stop, over twice the distance of the entire trip!  They would have to start to stop(?!)- that concept makes my head hurt -  about 57 years before they leave earth.  Ruminate on THAT for a while!   CWH
