Wait until the global Hubbert Peak http://www.oilcrisis.com http://www.hubbertpeak.com What makes it especially weird is that 1) people haven't started to think about global economic dependence upon crude oil: gasoline manufacturing plastics fertilizer etc. Think about all of that stuff tripling in price, shortages, etc. 2) as the alternative energy bills go down to defeat, for the stupidest of reasons... 3) consumption is "locked in" -- people have to consume to "make a living" 4) alternative energy sources are there -- but their development will have to happen under crunch conditions, since the US currently behaves as a slacker nation -- it takes energy to get energy... new band name: Jefferson Solar-Powered Vehicle?
