So maybe your raccoon was saying, as it peered in your window, "Now THIS looks inviting!"
Also, don't make a habit of feeding them on a regular basis NEAR your abode. They're smart enough to recognize a pattern. You and your house will then be considered a food source. If you forget to feed them or heaven forbid, go on vacation and they don't get their regular meals, they will try to invade your house in search of food.
Also, February is their 'peak' mating time. Watch out, Cricket.
