Harvey - Peloquin: A Historic Reunion |
Here's one for the Jefferson Airplane history buffs. Bob Harvey and Jerry Peloquin will be playing together for the first time in 37 years when they re-unite for one show only at the Washington Spy in Hagerstown, Maryland on Saturday February 16, 2002 at 9:00 PM.
As many of you know, Bob Harvey was the original bass player and Jerry Peloquin the original drummer for Jefferson Airplane. They were one-third of the original line-up that debuted at the Matrix in San Francisco in 1965. Other founding members of Jefferson Airplane were Marty Balin, Paul Kantner, Jorma Kaukonen and Signe Anderson.
Bob released a new album in 2000 entitled "Idiot's Vision" and is currently working on a new release. The evening will be a musical odyssey ranging from a tune David Crosby brought to Jefferson Airplane in 1965 to new material not yet recorded. Joining Bob and Jerry will be special guest singer, songwriter, and guitarist/harp man, Pete Lancaster.
Hagerstown, Maryland is a little over an hour west of both Washington, DC and Baltimore, Maryland. This is a FREE show.
