I think the stae of the recording industry is well taken and "greed' certainly paved the way to it's present state.  i doubt this proposal is in any way, perceived as a "sell-out".
As for "We Built This City", it was a commercial success, a pop-hit, 2:00 ditty that should be banned from air-play but......... it personifies and identifies the band as it was in those days.
THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "STARSHIP", I.E., MICKEY THOMAS AND "JEFFERSON STARSHIP", WHICH IN SOME WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, IS PAUL KANTNER AND WHOMEVER HE SO DESIRES TO INCORPORATE UNDER THAT MONIKOR.
Geez,...........you don't have to work for NASA to distinguish the difference between "Wooden Ships" and Tiptoe Through The Tulips".
