I have to agree with you. Most of us have laughed at PI jokes at one time or another. I know I have. As I get older, I find that humor much less funny unless done in the right context -an example would be the totally PI humor one would experience as part of a show like Tony & Tinas' Wedding. I was in that show at one point telling many ethnic jokes over the mic as the lounge lizzard, mostly Italian, Jewish, Irish, etc. That show was a case where people pretty much knew what they were getting themselves into. I find some the funniest humor is when we are making fun of ourselves at our expense. Drawing from our own life experiences. It's a lot harder to do than what the Greaseman said. It's like writing easy O-town pop crap (sorry O-own fans) as opposed to what PK and other JA/JS members have written for 35+ years.
