Like everything, there are opinions but for those who were there, the validity is much greater than those who only know from books and movies.  As for wars, they have been going on for eternity, nothing changes and we aren't the bad guys................talk about nay-sayers...........if this is such a bad place to be.........that's why they have one-way tickets to other countries.  It's always those who never deal with combat zones who revel in the implications of defense...................I suppose we could always say, let them bomb and kill when and where they want, we deserve it.  That's bullshit and I'm not going to argue the semantics of vindication for NYC, Vietnam or any other conflict.  We can't all join the Peace Corp. If we don't defend this country, we won't have a country........period.
