Thought I'd share a poem with y'all from down here in Florida... Angry Young Man Angry young man Angry young man Angry at the world we're living in You ask him why You can't understand Why he wakes up each morning Angry again Our leaders are cruel Our laws are obscene The water's polluted The air isn't clean Nuclear waste's Buried under the sand Just open your eyes And you'll understand Society's face Appears on a screen Saying, "What does he know? He's only fifteen. He's going through a phase. He'll learn to adjust. He'll grow out of it soon And be one of us." |
