back in the late '70s we also used to listen to what you'd have to call "coattail" albums, musicians hanging onto the coat-tails of New Wave.  Pete Townshend's "Empty Glass," Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk," and oh yes, an album that should be familiar to folks visiting this board, Neil Young's "Rust Never Sleeps".  I distinctly remember singing "Powderfinger," "Sedan Delivery," "Out of the Blue/ In to the Black," out loud and outside, while at a nature excursion sometime in the Spring of 1980.  It was great fun.  Now, in "Out of the Blue/ In to the Black," Neil makes clear reference to Johnny Rotten, so you knew something was up.......  and I presume Neil is still part of the Old Wave crowd, along with David, Graham, and Stephen?
